Every photograph tells a story.

By day, I am an engineer; by night, an artist.  My life is a balancing act between a technical side and a creative side.  My photography blends the strengths of both to produce thoughtful, inspired images.

I fell in love with photography on family vacations when my dad taught me how to use his Pentax ME Super to capture breathtaking images of our national parks.  He let me shoot and develop countless rolls of film (before our digital age of instant gratification) knowing that the experience and repetition would pay dividends far greater than the cost of the prints.

Since then, I have grown and expanded my work to include event, portrait, travel, and product photography – the people, places, and things you see featured here.  My candid style works well for capturing special moments in children’s portraits and weddings, but I have also created product images for online and catalog marketing, album covers for local musicians, and travel photography from as far away as China and India.
